Antonio Key, Director of Venture Investments at Samsung Next
Antonio works to identify early stage startups that could enable new software and services revenue streams, facilitate entry into new markets and enhance Samsung’s existing product offerings through Samsung Next's $150 million Venture Fund. His investment focus is in early stage startups (Seed to Series B) in the sectors of Metaverse (Immersive Experiences, Creator Economy, AR/VR, Decentralization), Blockchain (Dev/Builder Tools, Ownership, Community, UX), Connected Health and Wellness, and Fintech. Samsung Next's portfolio includes Web3/Metaverse companies such as The Sandbox, Ready Player Me, Yuga Labs and many more. He is passionate about increasing the opportunities for underrepresented groups in tech and finance.
Chris McKibbin, Chief Operating Officer at ConsenSys
ConsenSys is a market leader in blockchain software technology that is focused on building infrastructure, tools and products for consumers, developers and enterprises. The company is currently valued at more than $7 billion USD and has recently led deals such as the $600 million NFT deal with Premier League, among many other projects. Prior to his career at ConsenSys, Chris has held CXO positions at startups, private and public companies, and managed global organizations with 1,000-plus employees and $400 million-plus revenues. He has a wide range of experiences, from co-founding a Hollywood FX studio, to operating large-scale production studios, to managing products for the world's largest online games network, to designing and building a next-generation social network with Google to developing and launching a SaaS operating platform for Minecraft server operators.
Anand Dass, Director or Metaverse Content @Meta
Before Meta Reality Labs, Anand helped launch Facebook’s first productivity and collaboration platform for businesses workplace (5 million-plus paying users). After graduating from MIT, he co-founded a Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz-funded startup, which was acquired in 2014. He also led merchant partnerships at Postmates, where he helped grow the business to $1 billion GMV and helped launch Postmates Plus (lower-priced deliveries) and Postmates Unlimited.
