August 17 Online Event: Student Panel: Adapting to the U.S. Education Style

Learn from recent students about how to succeed in the interactive, project-based U.S. classroom

Are you familiar with and prepared to succeed in the U.S.-style of classroom?

UC Berkeley courses have many assignments and exams throughout the semester. Group work, collaboration, discussion and questions are encouraged in class. Many of our students say that it took some time to get to know and adjust to the U.S.-style of classroom, so we have organized this panel to help you prepare and adjust more easily when you come to campus.

Join this panel of recent alumni and continuing students from all different Berkeley Global programs who will share their advice and experiences in the U.S. classroom.

You will have the opportunity to submit questions for the panelists when you register or ask them during the event.

The Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the event.

Note: If you require an accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) or information about campus mobility access features in order to fully participate in this event, please email Ziva Armstrong with as much advance notice as possible and at least 7-10 days in advance of the event.
