With a master's degree in engineering already in hand, Yi Ting Chen is interested in entering the business world, a goal attainable thanks to the knowledge and skills gained during the Entrepreneurship program.

Learning business techniques and strategies in the classroom, Chen gained real-world knowledge with an internship with Kiverdi.

"My supervisor led me step by step to realize how to operate and grow a business," Chen says. "He taught me the newest analysis methods, and I experienced American culture that will help me prevail in this global village."

Currently working toward his M.B.A., Chen embraces his newfound entrepreneurial spirit in devising new business ideas. "The UC Berkeley Extension education enabled me to have a good start," he says. "This experience is one of my most important sources of inspiration and encouragement."
