Celebrating with the Personal Financial Planning Community

The 12th annual awards dinner for students and faculty

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, members of the Personal Financial Planning certificate community came together for its 12th annual awards dinner at UC Berkeley's Faculty Club to recognize exceptional achievements among its students and instructors.

Speakers emphasized the importance of community in this profession, and also the community's passion for serving traditionally underserved groups, including women. There was an emphasis on empathy—truly listening to clients beyond the numbers.

Recruiters from leading financial firms were also present to discuss opportunities with attendees.
