Event: Making a Successful Career Transition

Roadmap for change

Making a career transition can be bewildering: How do you find jobs? How can you stand out as a candidate?

And, if you finally get an interview, how do you showcase yourself as the best candidate? This workshop will walk participants through each step of making a career transition. Through interactive exercises, we will cover strategies in personal branding, networking, résumé, and LinkedIn profiles and job interviewing.

You'll leave the workshop with a roadmap and more confidence for making a career transition into a role you love.

  • Develop a career-transition roadmap and steps to take in securing your dream job.
  • Update your "personal brand," résumé and LinkedIn profile.
  • Learn strategies and develop comfort with networking and job interviewing.

The schedule includes a one-hour break for lunch on your own.

Bring your résumé and a copy of your LinkedIn profile.
