BHGAP: San Francisco City Tour

Student Clarissa Li shares her tour on the first Friday of her BHGAP experience

Hello everyone! My name is Clarissa, and I am from Guangzhou, China. I came here for the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program. As an exchange student, this is my first time studying abroad, and everything is so exciting to me.

On the first Friday of school, we had a BHGAP San Francisco City Tour. It was so wonderful to explore the Bay Area with my new friends in the program, and I am more than happy to share my experience with you.

The Golden Gate Bridge

The first site we visited was the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a suspension bridge across the Pacific Ocean, and it is well-known as a landmark of the Bay Area. We were so lucky that the weather was so nice that day, and I had wonderful sight of it. I walked on the bridge with my friends and enjoyed the beautiful views there.

The Twins Peak

After spending an hour on the bridge, we went to the second landmark—the Twins Peak. I strongly recommend people to visit because it is worth a look. From Twins Peak, you can see the best view of San Francisco. We went there by bus and it took us nearly half an hour to get to the top of the peak.

The Ferry Building

The last place we visited was the Ferry Building, where I enjoyed my lunch. The Ferry Building is a beautiful food hall located on the Embarcadero in San Francisco.

I was so happy for every moment I spent here! I will keep sharing more photos about my life in this semester, and I hope you will like it.
