Sending Kudos to Our Fall 2020 BHGAP Graduates

Instructors and staff offer their congratulations to our latest alumni

The fall 2020 semester—well, all of 2020—was a difficult time for all of us. However, our recent Berkeley Haas Global Access Program (BHGAP) cohort truly made the most out of their fall semester. They proved that you can still learn from top professors, meet people from around the globe and gain experience—all from their laptops.

We are proud to have hosted this amazing group of future entrepreneurs. An end-of-the-semester celebration wouldn't be complete without recognizing our students' hard work and dedication. To send off these graduates, we created a “kudos board” where students, instructors and staff can share their messages.

Take a look at some highlights from our BHGAP Kudos Board below!

Congratulations to you all for completing this very challenging semester, proving that you are truly embracing the leadership principles from Haas: the pandemic has upset the status quo, forcing all of us to look beyond ourselves, but you have shown collaboration, resilience and optimism. There is always more to learn and I am looking forward to welcoming the students who will join us in California next month.

Best wishes for the new year!

EDHEC Country Manager, U.S. West Coast

We admire your resilience, your maturity and your patience during this unexpected remote academic semester! The EDHEC executive committee and myself wish you all the very best for the spring semester to come at Berkeley or elsewhere.

“On the other side of a storm is the strength that comes from having navigated through it. Raise your sail and begin.”—Gregory S. Williams (a Northern California author)

Richard Perrin
Associate Dean for International Relations at EDHEC

None of us could have imagined what this semester would end up being like when you first applied to join us—and I also couldn't have imagined the amount of pride I have in each of you for your resilience, courage and flexibility! These are all key traits that will continue to serve you well as entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders.

Congratulations on all that you've accomplished during fall 2020. Onwards!!
